- What are your candles made of?
All of our candles are made in small batches and hand-poured. We use 100% soy wax with no added ingredients or dyes. Each candle comes in a sustainable glass container that can be recycled, reused, and repurposed. Our premium fragrances are hand-selected, phthalate-free and made with essential oils. All of our candle wicks are constructed from all-natural ring-spun cotton. They do not contain zinc, lead, or any other metals. - Are your candles eco-friendly, vegan and cruelty free?
Our candle wax is made of soy beans which is a renewable resource and completely cruelty-free. No animals are used or harmed when manufacturing soy. Every candle is shipped using eco-friendly packaging and purely recyclable materials. - What kind of fragrance do you use?
Our fragrances are formulated with a high-end blend of natural and synthetic components for a product that performs. We use clean fragrance and essential oils free of:
Phthalates: A group of chemicals used to make plastics more durable
Carcinogens: These are materials known or thought to cause cancer.
Mutagens: Materials that change the DNA of a cell, harming the cell and causing diseases like cancer.
Reproductive toxins: Toxins that adversely affect reproductive organs and increase the risk of birth defects.
Organ toxins: These are toxins that can cause adverse effects or disease within specific bodily organs.
Acute toxins: Toxins that can cause adverse effects from a single exposure. Generally, this would be accidental exposure like spillage or ingestion. - How long do your candles burn?
Each full-size candle (8.5 oz) is designed to perform and burn for 50-60 hours. - What is the lifespan of your candles?
We recommend burning your candles within one year for peak performance, as we do not use any preservatives. - Do you offer different sizes or shapes of candles?
Soon, our candles will be available in larger sizes and cool new looks, with new collections currently in the works. - Can I customize a candle for a special occasion?

Candle Care and Safety FAQs:
- Are your candles safe for pets and children?
Our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax which is safe for the environment, because they give off less soot, burn cleaner, and don’t emit the same type of pollutants as paraffin wax. We use the safest scents on the market that are toxin-free. However, some of the purest essential oils can be toxic to dogs and humans if ingested. Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended. - How should I properly burn and care about your candles?
At Holy Moly, we want you to have the best possible experience with our candles. This guide will help you take care of your candles, prolong their lifespan, and ensure they burn safely and efficiently. - Are there any safety tips I should be aware of when using your candles?
Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings, Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn candles for more than four hours at a time. - Do you offer refills or recycling programs for used candles?
We don’t have a refill program yet. Our candle jars can be recycled in a glass waste recycling bin alongside bottles. There are many creative ways in which you can reuse your empties. Use them for storage, organizing your home or office, drinkware or as planters. The possibilities are endless, but first, make sure to properly clean your candle jars. - How to clean a candle jar ?
Create a Double Boiler! Remove as much wax as you can with a butter knife or a spoon. Place the candle inside of a pot or large metal bowl on a heat-safe surface. Pour boiling water into the pot around the candle, making sure that the water does not get into the candle jar. Let the jar sit in the hot water until the wax has softened. Hold the jar in one hand and use a butter knife to loosen the wax. Remove the container from the water, pop out the wax, gently remove the label while the glass is hot and then wash with soap and water. - What should I do if my candle burns unevenly?
Our candles are carefully crafted to burn evenly. However tunneling can appear if the recommended candle care is not being followed. In this case, our preferred method for fixing tunneling is to melt the entire candle surface with a hair dryer. First extinguish the flame if lit, then use a hair dryer to carefully melt the wax to the edge of the container. Use a low setting and hold the hair dryer far enough away to avoid spattering any wax
